“ToR for providing Drug Detoxification and Rehabilitation Service to Injecting Drug Users under Direct implementation Component.”

HIV/AIDS Sector of Save the Children in Bangladesh is implementing the Direct Implementation (DI) component in four deferent geographic locations, which are Dhaka, Sylhet, Barisal and Meherpur. As per direct implementation work plan DI have an activity to provide 14 days Drug Detoxification Service and 90 Days Rehabilitation Service to Injecting Drug Users. Considering the programmatic need and addressing the work plan target HIV/AIDS sector is going procure this specific service from our three Treatment Centers, Dhaka, Gazipur and Jessore. DAM will be cover total 70 clients under the assignment. Provide 14 days Drug Detoxification Service to 50 IDUs, 90 Days Rehabilitation Service to 20 Injecting Drug Users and during rehabilitation provide Vocational Training to 20 IDUs. AMIC– Dhaka Ahsania Mission has been implementing the project from March 1, 2015.
The project activities are –
• Provide admission acknowledgement.
• Provide in-house psycho-social counseling.
• Provide food and nutritional support.
• Provide necessary medication as per approved detoxification guideline.
• Provide release certificate after detoxification/rehabilitation.
