The Closing Ceremony of Continuing Education for Addiction Professionals Held

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) organized a six-day long training for the addiction professionals, including
Doctors, Counselors, Managers and other staff from the country’s different drug treatment and rehabilitation centers. The training was held on two curriculum “Case Management for Addiction Professionals” and “Ethics for Addiction Professionals”. The training was started on 15 October 2018, Sunday and closing ceremony was held on 20 October 2018, at Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Conference room. The curriculum addresses professionals conduct and ethical behavior in SUD treatment. Topics include confidentiality, ethical principles and professional codes of ethics. It also highlights the importance of supervision as part of ethical practice. In this curriculum, the participants are given the opportunity to learn and practice the use of an ethical decision-making model through case study analyses. As part of the integration, participants will develop their code of ethics. A number of thirty three participants attend the training.
