Recovery Get together held at Jessore

On 24 February, 2018 a human chain was formed and a rally was organized by Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Jessore at 10.30 am at Jessore Doratana More. The rally was started from Jessore  Doratana More and ended in  Jessore Press Club. Sixty recoveries were participated   in the rally and they expressed their solidarity on the human chain. After the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of Jessore Press Club. Mr. Md. Juel Imran, Assistant Police Super of Jessore Sadar was present the meeting as  Chief Guest while Dr. Md. Harun-ur-Rashid, Assistant Civil Surgeon of Jessore, Mr. Md. Giyash Uddin, Senior Health Education Officer of Jessore and Advocate Saleha Begum, Blast Bangladesh was present as a Special Guest. Mr. Amiruzzaman Liton, Center Manager of Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Jessore delivered the welcome speech at the beginning of the meeting. At the same time he disseminated Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center’s information and their different activities. Mr. Shahjahan Nannu (ASNAN) NGO Coordinator, Jessore, presided over the program.
On the other hand, Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Jessore organized a recovery get together at the same day. Basically the human chain formation, rally and discussion meeting was the part of a Recovery Get Together, 2018. The program was started by a Cricket match between Center staff and recovery & present client at 3.30pm. At the evening a cultural program was held in the program where all clients, recovery and center staff participated. The cultural program was arranged by song, jokes, awareness drama etc. After the cultural program a prize distribution ceremony was held where Mr. Amiruzzaman, Center Manager of Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Jessore handed over the crest to the long term recovery.
