Handicraft Training Started at Male and Female Central Jail

Skill development training on Handicraft (Jute) started on Kashimpur Female Central Jail on 19 May 2018. The training was inaugurated by respective Senior Jail Super Mr. Shajahan Ahmed as Chief Guest. Total training participants were 26 persons. Among them 07 were convicted and 19 were under trial.


Skill development training on Tiles Fittings for prisoners

On the other hand Skill development training on Tiles Fittings for prisoners was inaugurated on 17May 2018 at Dhaka Central Jail. Rehabilitation Supervisor Md. Nasimul Alam facilitated the program. Duration of the course is 22 working days. Total 28 Prisoners are nominated by jail authority to receive the training. Among them 12 are convicted and 16 are under trial.


Skill development training on Furniture making (cane) and Handicraft (Jute)

As part of skill development training in inside of the prison, Furniture making (cane) and Handicraft (Jute) has been started at Kashimpur Central Jail-1 on 20 May 2018. Senior Jail Super Mr. Subrata Kumar Bala were presents that event as Chief Guest. The program chaired by the Jailor Md. Anwar Hossain. Furniture making (Cane) total training participants were 25. Among them 19 were convicted and 06 were under trial and in handicraft (Jute) training total participants were 25 among them 14 were convicted and 11 were under trial.
