Certificate distribution ceremony held on Furniture Making in KCJ-2

A certificate distribution ceremony was held on 03 May 2017 at Kashimpur Central Jail -2 after completing Skill Development Training on Furniture Making (Partex & Plywood). Total 22 participants received certificate who have completed the training successfully. Among them, 18 were convicted and 04 were under trial. Senior Jail Super of the respective prison Mr. Prasanta Kumar Bonik distributed the certificate among the trainees. He told that, “skill development training inside prison is our continuous activity for prisoners at Kashimpur Central Jail-2 under manufacturing department. DAM-GIZ-IRSOP project has been supporting to enhance the activity. Beside this, Furniture Making (Partex & Plywood) is one of the marketable, time demanding and practical skill development training. You can utilize the training knowledge for earning source of your family after imprisonment”. Among other Md. Anwar Hossain, Jailor, Md. Abul Hossain, Deputy Jailor, Md. Toyub Ali –Trainer and Anwar Hossain- Rehabilitation Supervisor Cum Counselor were present. Md. Abu Hasan Mondol, Counselor facilitated the program. The training course contained 35 classes, which was daily two hours basis.
